Childrens Home

Mercy children’s home

Mercy Childrens Home was established in 1996 with just six children. It has since grown rapidly and there are now 100 children who are cared for at the home.  Many of these children were orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected. Today they are cared for and loved in  a safe secure Christian environment.  In addition, they all attend the Mercy Mission School where they receive free education.

SowmyaMy name is Sowmya. I was 5 years old when my parents committed suicide. As a destitute, I was sold to a Tea Shop owner to be a cleaner. Mercy Mission found me and gave me a new life by providing food, shelter, clothing and education."

Mercy Childrens home is funded totally by the generosity of friends and supporters around the world.  Many of the children are sponsored by individuals or churches.  In return for regular financial support, sponsors are able to exchange letters with their child and receive regular news and updates.  Sponsors are also welcome to visit their child in person. Some of the children do not yet have sponsors.

Please would you consider whether you might be able to  sponsor one of them?
